What Clipsy is
Clipsy generates short promotional videos from websites, daily shorts, and adaptations of reference shorts. It schedules approved videos through connected channels. Generation and publishing require an active plan; credit packs add to that plan. The landing preview needs no account.
Your account
Sign-in is passwordless. Keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for the websites, uploads, scripts, and channels you connect and must have the rights to use them. Project and channel limits depend on your plan.
Plans, credits, and caps
Plans grant credits every month; packs add credits that do not expire while you subscribe. Every generation shows its credit cost before it starts, holds that amount, and settles no more than the estimate. A failed generation releases its hold. A monthly spend cap is on by default and you can change it in Billing. There is no overage charge. Prices and grants are listed on the pricing page and can change for future periods with notice.
Payments
Polar is the merchant of record and handles payments, taxes, and receipts. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel in Billing. Plan access continues until the paid period ends; stored media remains available to download for thirty days after that.
Refunds
Your first subscription carries a money-back window described in the refund policy: within 7 days of the period start and with 100 credits or fewer used, you can refund it yourself from Billing. Other requests are read by a person. Nothing on this service is "all sales final".
Your content and the videos
You retain your rights in material you upload. You give Clipsy permission to process it to provide the service. Generated outputs may not be unique or eligible for copyright protection. You are responsible for having the rights needed to use and publish the material.
AI disclosure and likeness
Every finished video carries a machine-readable AI manifest and asks each platform to set its AI flag. A visible badge is added whenever a real person's face or voice is synthesized or when generated video makes up most of a reel. Using a real person's face or voice requires their recorded consent and a liveness check first, as described in the likeness and voice consent page.
Acceptable use
The acceptable use policy is part of these terms. It prohibits impersonation without consent, synthetic reviews or endorsements presented as real customers, unsupported comparisons, bulk copying of other creators, and music you do not own. Clipsy may pause generation or publishing, and may close an account, when the policy is broken.
Availability and providers
Clipsy depends on third-party providers for crawling, generation, voice, trends, publishing, and payment. When a provider fails, the affected job fails and its credits are released. Clipsy does not promise that a platform will accept, rank, or keep a video.
Your rights and disputes
Mandatory consumer rights and legal remedies remain in force. If you have a complaint, contact support@clipsy.video with your account email and the relevant order or job identifier. Do not send payment card details.
Changes
Clipsy may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to the address on your account before they apply to your next period.
