How Clipsy handles account and product data.

Last updated September 7, 2026

What this covers

This policy covers the public website, anonymous previews, accounts, generation, and publishing. Selmi Abderrahim in Tunisia operates Clipsy and is responsible for the account and service data described here. Contact support@clipsy.video for privacy requests.

Data we hold

We store your email, session metadata, preferences, plan, credit ledger, and billing identifiers. Product data includes submitted URLs, briefs, brand assets, scripts, media, captions, and generation history. Connected channel identifiers and publication logs support scheduling. Consent records include the accepted wording, selfies, voice samples, avatar videos, and liveness frames. Security controls use IP addresses; anonymous demo sessions store an IP hash. Consent media is not included in analytics.

The landing demo

An anonymous preview stores its brief, screenshots, script, voice, and timeline for seven days before a cleanup job removes them. Requesting an email link stores your address, consent time, and confirmation token. The email leads to a page where you confirm the address. Its unsubscribe action removes the lead, including after the preview expires.

Analytics

Product analytics run only after you opt in, and only when a measurement id is configured. Events carry closed labels such as a plan name, a locale, or a stage name. They never carry a website address, an email address, or the content of a brief or script.

How AI providers see your data

Depending on the feature, AI providers receive website text, scripts, screenshots, or approved reference media to generate the requested output. Anthropic handles text; Fish Audio and ElevenLabs handle voice; fal.ai handles video and transcription. Their retention and processing practices are governed by their applicable terms. Do not submit confidential or sensitive material you are not entitled to share.

Your rights

You can edit your project information and settings, revoke likeness or voice consent, and request account deletion in Settings. Contact support@clipsy.video for access, correction, deletion, or a data copy. Where applicable law provides them, you may also request portability or restriction, object to processing, and complain to your data protection authority, including Tunisia’s INPDP. We may need to verify that a request concerns your account.

Security

Media uses temporary signed access links. Account access and ownership checks restrict private data, and administrative actions are logged. These controls do not make storage end-to-end encrypted or guarantee that a security incident cannot occur.

International transfers

Hostinger hosts the service. The providers listed below may process data in countries outside Tunisia or your country of residence. Contact support@clipsy.video for information about a specific provider, processing location, or the safeguards relevant to your request.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential cookies support sign-in and language preferences. Browser storage remembers interface preferences and your analytics choice. Optional Google Analytics measurement starts only after you accept it. You can change that choice through the analytics preferences in the footer.

Why we use these data

Account and product data let us provide the service you request. Billing records support payments and applicable recordkeeping duties. Security logs help prevent abuse. We ask for consent before optional analytics and before using a real person’s likeness or cloned voice. Contact us if you want to understand the legal basis for a particular use or withdraw consent.
